Welcome to the Richmond, VA Society of the Archaeological Institute of America (AIA), an international non-profit organization with more than 100 local societies and over 200,000 members worldwide.

The Richmond AIA collaborates with the Department of Classical Studies at the University of Richmond to host five public lectures each year, a celebration of International Archaeology Day each October, a spring banquet lecture, other outreach events, and field trips for members.
