We are excited to announce our first lecture of the academic year. On Thursday, October 12, Dr. Jeffrey Splitstoser (George Washington University) will present a lecture on textiles from ancient Peru, “Unravelling the Wari World: How Colorfully Wrapped Wari-style Khipus are Informing Us Today about South America’s First Empire.” The lecture is free and open to the public and will begin at 6 pm in Jepson Hall, room 118, on the campus of the University of Richmond.
